KS Engineering has nearly 50 years combined engine building, and
automotive service experience between its employees and owner. We
are a group of very passionate individuals dedicated to giving you the
best possible product, from an open comp racing engine, to a
restoration, or machine work we are committed to give you the
service you deserve.
Kevin Stoa: Owner
Kevin grew up with the passion for racing and fast cars. He attended
Minnesota Riverland Technical College in 1988/1989. Kevin worked at
and managed two main race engine shops in the Midwest until 2006
when he acquired a job with the Chip Ganassi Nascar Sprint Cup team
as a Nascar engine builder, which lasted for 3 years till economics
caused the team to shut down. Kevin then took 32 credits toward
Mechanical Engineering in Salisbury NC.. In January of 2010, KS
Engineering was opened in Albert Lea, MN. We have had a great first
year with close to 50 feature wins and great running engines. Thank

Preston Brogaard: Lead Assembler
Preston knows every aspect of engine building and machine work.
Preston attended Minnesota Riverland Technical College 2001/2002.
Preston also worked for two major engine shops in the Midwest, one
under the management of Kevin, so it was a perfect fit when KS
Engineering was formed. He grew up racing and has the passion for
Jerry Nelson: Dyno Tech
Jerry is jack of all trades and electrical specialist. Jerry attended
Rochester Technical College 1992-1993, and Alexandria Tech for
Automotive Electronics 1993-1994. Jerry takes care of Dyno
operations , tuning and computer diagnostics.
